The centre-back has featured heavily in the Gers backline in the current campaign having overcome injury problems in recent years.
Speaking to the media to preview the Light Blues’ next outing as they gear up to take on Nice in the Europa League tomorrow evening, he commented: “I think it is just hard work, hard work from everyone at Rangers, the staff.
“Obviously when I came and arrived my first season I had a lot of problems, but the last two seasons I have felt really good and this season I feel like I am in a really good spot physically.
“I feel like I am playing every three days and I feel really good ,that is a credit to the club and everything that goes on behind the scenes.
“I feel really good and I feel comfortable playing every game and it is a good feeling as a player when you feel comfortable playing every game and you feel like you can do that.
“When you are at a big club and you want to play centre-back you need to play every three days, you have to be there and you have to be consistent.
“It is important for me at my stage of my career to get to that level and thankfully this season I have.”
The Scotland defender feels the fixture tomorrow evening presents a good opportunity for himself and his teammates, as they look to take a step closer to qualification from the league phase of the competition.
He added: “I think when everyone seen the draw coming out they realised it was a tough group for us.
“But we have got some big results at home and away and tomorrow night it would be brilliant to get the three points and it is what we are all aiming for and it is what we are wanting.
“It would be a good thing for the team and creates belief when you get big results like that and it brings everyone together so it is something we are all aiming for.
“I don't think it is anything to do with style or we change it. We have performed better in Europe than some league games.
“We have performed well in the league in some games but in Europe we have probably done it more consistently and that is something we are trying to correct in the league, but everyone is looking forward to tomorrow because it is a great opportunity for us.
“Another away game in Europe with a lot of travelling support so everyone is looking forward to it.
“I think we have had some really good performances in Europe, against some top teams.
“We have come away from home won one and drawing which is a difficult thing to do, but as a group we have got a gameplan tomorrow and we are here to win.”
