The 36-year-old midfielder was again a top performer in the engine room as the Light Blues beat Royal Antwerp 5-2 in a remarkable match at Ibrox, taking the aggregate score to 9-5.
Goals from Alfredo Morelos, Nathan Patterson, Ryan Kent, Borna Barisic and Cedric Itten made it another European night to remember for Steven Gerrard's men, with Davis speaking to RangersTV post-match.
"We're absolutely delighted,” he said. "We knew it was going to be another tough game but we knew we could cause them problems and I thought our attacking players made the difference tonight and were excellent throughout the game.
"We were in a good position from the first leg and we wanted to go out with the right mentality to go and win the game.
"I think we showed our intent straight away and a good goal from Alfredo set us off. We maybe took a little bit of a step back after that and they got the equaliser, but in the second half we created a number of good chances and the attacking play was excellent with some good goals in there.
"Of course, at half time you know the next goal is going to be very important. We weren't expecting to score quite as early but it was a great goal from Nathan and he had an immediate impact. I'm delighted for him as well.
"For the third goal it was good movement from Kenty in the box and Alfredo gets the space and puts in a good ball and it was another good finish.
"So it was a great night's work and I'm sure the fans are happy. We can look forward to the draw now."
Davis started this evening's game alongside Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara, but admits he is happy to play alongside any of his teammates in the middle of the park such is the quality they possess.
He added: "We've got really good quality in the midfield areas and good competition for places as well.
"We are obviously missing Jacko at the minute and Scotty is coming back from an injury as well, so there is good competition and I'm enjoying playing with them all.
"Everybody has got their own attributes they try to bring to the game when they play."
