Fresh from international duty, Davis was outstanding in the middle of the park, and he looked back on both the performance of the team and his own efforts as Gers recorded a sixth Scottish Premiership win of the season.
Davis explained: "Overall we are very pleased. I thought we were excellent in phases of the game - we were maybe a little sloppy to start and disrupted with the injuries so, all-in-all, apart from the injuries today, it was a really positive performance and result.
"I feel I am getting sharper every game. It is always difficult when you come back and I missed a few weeks of pre-season, but I am feeling stronger every game which is a good sign and I enjoyed the game today."
The midfielder was thrilled to see four different scorers on the goals sheet today, and he added: "We don't want the onus to be on the strikers alone, so it is important everyone tries to chip in, and I think you have seen with the number of chances we have created today, we could probably have been more clinical with them.
"But all-in-all, it was great to see different people on the scoresheet and long may that continue."
