From the team which earned another excellent result against Benfica in midweek, Allan McGregor, Leon Balogun, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, Ryan Kent, Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos all come out of the starting team today.
Their places are taken by Jon McLaughlin, Calvin Bassey, Ianis Hagi, Bongani Zungu (for a starting debut), Cedric Itten, Brandon Barker and Jermain Defoe.
That means it’s a slightly altered back five of McLaughlin in goal with James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Bassey and Borna Barisic in front of him.
Scott Arfield is still in midfield, but next to and beyond him, it’s all change with Hagi, Zungu, Barker, Itten and Defoe all named by the manager.
Of the seven to come out today, four are on the bench – Kent, Kamara, Morelos and Balogun.
They are joined there by sub goalkeeper Andy Firth, Greg Stewart, alongside three Academy graduates in Glenn Middleton, Ciaran Dickson and Leon King.
