Gers will celebrate their 150th anniversary in 2022, and in doing so, become the first major European club to reach such a milestone.
The club are determined to celebrate the landmark to the maximum, with the work already well underway to make it a year to remember.
"The 150th anniversary is a huge milestone in the club's history,” Robertson told shareholders at today’s AGM. “This club has an amazing heritage, it has got tradition and it has got a very proud history.
"The achievements of the past are something we should be able to celebrate, and it is not just about the club, it is about where we see ourselves and the role we have played within Glasgow and Scottish society.
"This club has grown as Glasgow has grown, and we feel our ties to the city - our ties to Ibrox and Govan particularly - but our ties to the city are very, very strong.
"I am also pleased to say early in the New Year, there will be various announcements we will be making about other infrastructure projects we are looking to take forward.
"These are very exciting projects which will help the development of the club and with those projects, there will opportunities to invest directly into those projects, directly into the club and it will be a way for the fans to leave a mark and they can be a part of Rangers' history for the next 150 years.
"We are coming to end of the first 150, but we are about to start the next 150. Those announcements will be made early in the New Year."
The club’s Everyone Anyone campaign has continued to grow over the last year, with Robertson revealing there is more to come in the coming year.
He explained: "The Everyone Anyone campaign is something I take a lot of pride in. I think we have made a lot of progress in that area and it has been very well received both internally and externally.
"It is a key pillar within our diversity and inclusion strategy within the club and it has been given a lot of recognition outwith the club.
"We are delighted with the way it has developed and moved forward. We have a lot of plans for that for the coming year.
"What we have done is get it into the consciousness, we have got it embedded within the club now and everybody knows it is a key part of our values within the club.
"That, to me, is very, very important and I know it is very important to the rest of the board as well.
"I think we will continue to see that evolve and develop, and there will be some really nice and interesting initiatives that will come out of that over the next 12 months."
