Supporter Information: Aberdeen Away

RANGERS supporters attending the Aberdeen fixture should be aware of the following information ahead of tonight’s match against Aberdeen FC.

Supporters should note, tickets which have already been purchased for this match will remain valid for the re-scheduled fixture.

All supporters must be prepared to provide visual proof of their full vaccination status or record of a negative COVID-19 result (from a test taken within 24 hours of the match) to gain entry to the stadium, unless they are exempt. Full information on entry to the stadium can be found below:

All supporters must be prepared to provide visual proof of their full vaccination status (which should include a booster vaccine for those who have had a second dose more than four months ago) or evidence of a negative Lateral flow/PCR result (from a test taken on the day of the match) to gain entry to the stadium unless they are exempt.

Turnstiles will be open 15 minutes earlier than usual (from 6.30pm for this match) and supporters are encouraged to turn up early to ensure entry into the stadium for kick-off.

Spot checks will be carried out by stewards, in line with Government guidance, and all supporters attending must be prepared to show the required proof of vaccination or negative Lateral flow/PCR result, unless they fall within one of the following exemptions:

  • Under 18’s (18 years and 4 months)

  • Not able to receive the vaccine for medical reasons

  • Not able to take a test for medical reasons and have a record of this exemption

  • Participants in vaccine trials

  • Workers or volunteers at the venue or event

  • Emergency services responders and regulators carrying out their work

Supporters are encouraged to bring a hard copy of their vaccine certificate, however digital copies will also be accepted, please have this ready and be prepared for it to be checked.

The record of the negative COVID-19 test should be either the email or text notification from the NHS confirming the recorded result, or a negative PCR certificate.

Evidence can be shown electronically or via printed paper copy. Physical tests showing results will not be accepted.

The Scottish Government along with the SFA and SPFL strongly recommend that all supporters who intend on attending a match at Pittodrie Stadium take a lateral flow test before travelling to the game and only attend if the result is negative.

Face masks are mandatory in all indoor areas including concourses, stairwells, kiosks and toilets, and supporters should stay in their social groups and maintain 1m distancing where possible. It is also encouraged and strongly recommended that supporter wear face mask in all outdoor seated areas.
