Supporter Information: Celtic (A)

FOLLOWING today’s operational meeting with key stakeholders ahead of this Saturday’s Old Firm fixture at Parkhead, Rangers supporters are asked to note the planned matchday operation, which forms part of a reciprocal arrangement following the return of increased ticket allocations at these fixtures.

We recognise that the arrangements in place will require planning and patience from those attending, and we thank supporters in advance for their co-operation in following the guidance provided to help ensure a safe matchday experience.

Entry and Exit:

Rangers supporters with a valid match ticket are asked to arrive at the east side of the Emirates Arena, entering via Springfield Road from 10:15, where they will be escorted across London Road to the six designated away turnstiles, which will be open from this time. Supporters should arrive no later than 10:30, as those arriving after this time may face delays and risk missing kick-off.

We understand that this early arrival time may be inconvenient for supporters, and we appreciate this is not the optimal matchday experience, however safety remains paramount. By arriving at the designated time, supporters can help ensure a smooth and secure entry process.

Supporters arriving after 10:30 should be aware that they may be held at the Emirates Arena until a safe opportunity to escort them across is determined. Police Scotland has advised that this could mean entry after the start of the match.

Please note that only those with a valid ticket will be permitted entry to the stadium footprint, with rigorous ticket checks in place.

There is a possibility of a post-match holdback of approximately25 minutes. This will be subject to a dynamic decision by Police Scotland during the match.

Supporters with specific access requirements are encouraged to contact [email protected] as soon as possible for assistance.

Supporter Buses

Rangers supporters’ coaches will be parked on Springfield Road. Away supporters should ensure they arrive in sufficient time, as the walk to the stadium takes approximately 10 minutes.

All Rangers supporters' coaches should follow this route:

  • Exit the M74 at Junction 2 and join Cambuslang Road, travelling north to Farme Cross.

  • Continue through the crossroads onto Dalmarnock Road, heading north towards Springfield Road.

  • Turn right onto Springfield Road, where police motorcyclists will direct away coaches.

For post-match departure, Rangers supporters should follow the reverse of this route. Police motorcyclists will assist in guiding coaches safely away from the area.

Private Cars

Parking near the stadium is highly restricted. Limited parking is available, and supporters are advised to park near the designated coach area on Springfield Road, south of London Road.

Please note, private cars are not permitted to park on Springfield Road and parking wardens may be in attendance.

Key Advice:

  • Arrive early

to avoid delays and ensure smooth access to the stadium.

  • We acknowledge the inconvenience of early arrival, but appreciate your co-operation in prioritising safety.

  • Only supporters with a valid ticket will be granted entry.

  • Be prepared for potential holdback measures post-match.

Supporter Message

Across the continent, the Rangers support are renowned for their incredible backing both in noise and in colour.

Ahead of this match, the club reminds supporters that the use of pyrotechnics or discriminatory behaviour, including but not limited to, illicit singing, chanting or the display of offensive banners, will lead to serious consequences for the club and may result in the arrest of those responsible.

We call on all our travelling support to back the team in the right manner and prove once again what a force for good the Rangers support can be.

Pyrotechnics

Supporters are reminded the use of pyrotechnics is illegal within Scottish football stadiums, and any supporter found to be in possession of a pyrotechnic device at any match will be arrested.

The club will be sanctioned for any use of pyrotechnics within a stadium, and indeed, a further use of pyrotechnics this season may lead to severe consequences for the club and supporters.

Please note that face coverings are also prohibited under ground regulations.
