FANS with tickets who are attending the match against Celtic for tomorrow’s Old Firm derby should read the following information.

ARRIVAL TIME

Safety advice has been issued for the forthcoming fixture on Saturday.

It is essential that Rangers supporters who have received a ticket for the match assemble at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome for 10:15 am whereupon they will receive a Police escort across London Road to turnstiles 66 and 67.

It is estimated all visiting supporters will be inside the stadium by 10:45 after which the whole Stadium footprint will be opened for general access.

Rangers supporters arriving after 10:30 should be aware they are likely to be held in the assembly point until a safe opportunity to escort fans over occurs. Police have advised this may be after kick-off.

This decision has been taken in the interests of safety of all supporters attending the match and is supported by Police Scotland. This arrangement was agreed between Celtic, and Police Scotland and we fully expect the safety of our supporters to be given a priority.

Please note, only those with a valid ticket will gain access to the stadium footprint and there will be rigorous checks in place.

TRAVELLING TO THE MATCH

Supporters’ Buses

Please note, the Rangers supporters coaches will be parked in the Commonwealth Games overspill car park, located at Springfield Road near to Dalmarnock Road.

Due to a change in the roadway, there is no facility for away coaches to stop or turn on Springfield Road. Away supporters must ensure they attend at the parking area in sufficient time, with the stadium being approximately 10-15 mins walk.

All Rangers supporters’ coaches should exit the M74 at Junction 2 and join Cambuslang Road travelling north to Farme Cross.

Travel through the crossroads onto Dalmarnock Road travelling north towards Springfield Road. Turn right into Springfield Road, where the away coach will be directed by a police motorcyclist.

Post-match Travel Advice: Rangers supporters should follow the reverse of the Pre-Match route. Coaches will be assisted by police motorcyclists.

Private Cars

Parking spaces are restricted around the stadium but there is limited parking. Would recommend parking close to The Rangers Supporters Coach Parking just off Springfield Road and following the designated route in the map provided below.
