SUPPORTERS travelling to Eindhoven for the match against PSV should read the following information.
PHILIPS STADION

A modern stadium, it is located in the centre of Eindhoven, in exactly the same place where the sports park was located when the Philips Sport Vereniging was founded in 1913.
The Philips Stadion is one of the biggest stadia in the Netherlands, with stands that are very close to the playing surface. It is an all-seater stadium with a capacity of 35,000 and all seats are covered and heated.
Travelling supporters are housed within the second-tier of the northernmost corner of the stadium which some may refer to as being in the north-west.
As shown by the seating plan below the “Bezoekers”, literally visiting stands, are comprised of sections 35 and 36.
HOW TO GET TO PHILIPS STADION
Philips Stadion is located on the edge of Eindhoven’s city centre, which means it is only a 5 to 10-minute walk from Eindhoven’s main shopping areas and central train station.
Exit the train station on the city centre side, turn right, and follow the avenue until the stadium shows up in front of you.
If arriving by car, find your way to Eindhoven’s city centre. Most city centre car parks are within walking distance of the stadium.
If coming from Eindhoven Airport, take bus 401 to the central train station and get off at stop Philips Stadion. The ride takes about 20 minutes.

Train – Multiple train options are available from Amsterdam to Eindhoven before the match. All trains depart from Amsterdam Centraal station and arrive at Eindhoven Centraal station, both located in the city centre.
The trains run regularly between Amsterdam and Eindhoven, with the first departure at 03:46 and the last departure at 23:55. The average travel time by train from Amsterdam to Eindhoven is 1 hour and 20 minutes.
The train tickets can be purchased online or at the station, with prices starting from €25.00. Please check your route. The ground itself is about ten minutes walk from the city’s Central Station.
Following the match, a dedicated train service will be provided to transport you directly from the stadium to Amsterdam. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Bus - Bus numbers 16, 18, 401 and 402 all stop by the stadium.
Car - From Amsterdam, for example, you’ll take the A2 until you get to the A58 then the N2. Take exit 30 and follow the signs.
By Air - Eindhoven Airport is the closest to the city and is about 10km away.
Taxi - A taxi from Central Station to Philips Stadion will take just over five minutes and should cost in the region of €7.
ACCESS TO AWAY SECTION Rangers Supporters are housed in the visiting stand known as “Bezoekers” located in the “MM” section of the stadium in the North West corner, seated in the upper tier areas.
There is a safety net in front of the sector running from the roof to the balcony and the segregation lines have Perspex safety fencing installed. Supporters are advised that access to the seating areas involves a walk up 60 steps to reach the concourse area with further steps to the upper rows of the section.
Access is gained via a secure gate opposite turnstiles 35 and 36 which is close to away coach parking. Rangers fans will enter via gate and travel through a tunnel to our sector.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to facilitate this process where possible.
Please note that the away sector is extremely steep, and caution should be taken within the stadium.
Local police have stated that supporters will not be allowed in the stadium if:
You do not have a valid match ticket and/or identification.
You have been prohibited from attending sports events in the past.
You are visibly drunk or under the effect of other substances.
Any Rangers supporters found in the home areas of the stadium may face ejection. PSV officials will not relocate you to the visitors’ section of the ground.
The Dutch government has a zero tolerance policy regarding acts of hooliganism both inside and outside the stadium.
It is an offence to:
Possess any kind of weapon.
Display banners with logos of associations that encourage discrimination or violent racial conduct (ethnic, national or religious).
Encourage violence during any event.
Possess, throw or otherwise use dangerous materials or pyrotechnics.
Climb fences and enter the pitch.
Please note: CCTV cameras are in operation both inside and outside the stadium.
FOOD AND DRINK
There are refreshments available inside the away sector on the concourse. No alcohol will be served in the visitors’ sector.
FACILITIES
Toilets are situated on the concourse.
LUGGAGE
There is no area to leave luggage so please make alternative arrangements at your hotel or coaches as it will not be permitted into the stadium.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS
Flags or banners (excluding poles) subject to size, language and content.
Small bags and backpacks; content will checked upon entry.
Small cameras for private use only.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Coins, belts with large buckles, mobile phone chargers/battery packs and cigarette lighters are not permitted into the stadium.
Megaphones, drums, pyrotechnics, smoke bombs or flares.
Professional audio or visual recording equipment.
No bottles or cans will be allowed into the stadium.
It is an offence to be under the influence of drink and drugs when you enter the stadium.
Discretion lies with the PSV stewards as to who is deemed a safety risk, so please behave considerately or you may face the possibility of not being allowed to enter the stadium.
POST MATCH
It is anticipated that Rangers supporters will be held in after the match. Other away teams have been held in approx. 30 mins post match.
Following the match, a dedicated train service will be provided to transport you directly from the stadium to Amsterdam. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
RECOMMENDED SUPPORTER AREA
Local authorities have arranged a fanzone at ‘VIBES, Lardinoisstraat 8 Eindhoven‘ which is a few minutes’ walk from Markt Square.
Within the fanzone, you have the flexibility to enter and exit freely while enjoying the backdrop of music. This space also offers the opportunity to purchase an array of snacks and beverages for your convenience.

Dear Rangers FC fans,
The Champions League qualification game PSV v Rangers FC is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 30th of august. Rangers fans are expected to turn up in big numbers in the Philips Stadion, so both PSV and the local authorities would like to extend a warm welcome to you all!
Let’s make it a day to remember, irrespective of the result. In order to be helpful as much as possible we would like to share some information so that a number of issues regarding logistics and service, safety & security are clear.
Parking & Mobility:
The most of you will travel by train from Amsterdam to Eindhoven.
The Train Station is in the city centre within walking distance of the Fan zone and stadium. Fans travelling by car are advised to carpool as much as possible. Park your car in the car park on Strijp S. (see the map).
There will be sufficient parking spaces available for Rangers fans. You can reach the car park from the Eindhoven ringway (N2). The car park is within walking distance of the stadium.
After the match the train to Amsterdam will be ready at the stadium train platform. You need to have a valid train ticket.
Rangers FC Fan zone:
To provide a safe and friendly welcome the city of Eindhoven has arranged a Fan zone for the Rangers fans. The location is at VIBES, Lardinoisstraat 8 Eindhoven.
From 13.30 till 19:00 hrs there will be a Music DJ, food & beverages and the possibility to play some football at the pitches on the Fan zone.
At the location you only can pay by card. The Fan zone is on walking distance from the stadium and city centre.
Additional service information:
As far as a visit to Eindhoven and the game is concerned, a number of issues are relevant.
The standards terms of the Dutch Football Association and the internal regulations of PSV will apply to fans.
The most relevant things:
The away section will be open 2 hour prior to the match, so get to the stadium in time to prevent missing a part of the match; • Large bags/rucksacks are not allowed into the stadium and you cannot leave them behind at the entrance of the stadium. We advise you to leave them in the hotels, your car or in the bus;
Rangers fans travelling by train from Amsterdam are advised to leave their luggage in lockers in Amsterdam and not at Eindhoven station;
We urgently request fans without a ticket not to come to the stadium nor buy a ticket in the street.
Street vendors often try to sell fake tickets and there is a huge risk you will eventually be denied access to the stadium as you have no valid ticket;
Drinking and carrying alcohol (cans or glass bottles) in the streets other than near bars or cafes in Eindhoven is forbidden, beer will be served in drink cups;
Drunk visitors will be denied access to the stadium or expelled from the stadium; • You are not allowed to carry nor light fireworks in public nor in the stadium. People who do not obey these instructions will be detained by the police;
As to other forbidden/undesired items, consult the pictogram on the other side;
