MATCHDAY INFORMATION

Premier Sports Cup Second Round

Rangers v St Mirren

Sunday, 16 August 2026

Kick-off 16:00

Ibrox Stadium

STADIUM ENTRY

Please note that season ticket smartcards are not active for this fixture.

All supporters have received e-tickets/QR codes within their ticket confirmation emails. For those on CCCS, e-tickets were sent on Friday, 14 August.

Please note that a mobile-friendly e-ticket format is in use, and these should only be scanned directly from a mobile device.

Supporters who have chosen a print-at-home ticket may either print their ticket or scan it from a mobile device.

Supporters printing their e-tickets should ensure the size of the QR code can still be recognised by the turnstile system.

Please download your e-ticket in advance of arriving at the stadium.

Turnstiles will open at 14:30, and information on how to use the turnstile system can be viewed here: BACK TO IBROX | QR Code Entry.

Supporters in the Copland Rear, Main Stand Rear, and Govan East Corner are advised to arrive early, as these areas regularly experience queues closer to kick-off.

Supporters with tickets for the Club Deck can enter the stadium via turnstiles at both the east and west staircases. The available turnstiles are 19–23 at the east and 50–56 at the west of the stadium.

We recognise that not all supporters are able to arrive early for various reasons. However, where possible, we encourage early arrival to help ensure a smooth entry.

The club continues to explore ways of improving stadium entry and we greatly appreciate the co-operation and understanding of supporters as we work towards this.

TICKET OFFICE

This week, the ticket office will be open on:

  • Saturday, 15 August: 10:00 until 12:00

  • Sunday, 16 August: 12:00 until kick-off

MATCHDAY PARKING

Limited parking will be available in the Broomloan Road (Away) Car Park for this fixture on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is priced at £10 per vehicle, with both cash and card payments accepted.

All supporters parking within the stadium footprint (Argyle, Broomloan and Ibrox Car Parks) must enter via the Broomloan Road entrance. We kindly ask that you park no later than 95 minutes before kick-off. Please also note there may be a short delay after the final whistle before vehicles can safely exit to allow supporters to clear from the footprint of the stadium.

Glasgow City Council enforces a pavement parking ban, with fines issued for illegal parking. Areas with exemptions can be viewed here.

FAN ENGAGEMENT

Our Fan Engagement team will be around the stadium footprint as a point of contact on matchday, providing assistance, information and support to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, while also gathering your feedback.

Our Community Liaison and Disability Access Teams will also be present to assist supporters with any specific issues.

PLAYER-SUPPORTER ENGAGEMENT ON MATCHDAYS

We know many supporters, particularly younger fans, value the chance to see and meet players when they arrive at and leave Ibrox.

We want to improve those opportunities and make the process work better for supporters, players, and staff. We are looking at different ways to do that, both on matchdays and at other times throughout the season.

For Sunday’s match, the current player entry and exit arrangements will remain in place. There will be more stewards in the area to help manage access, support supporters waiting to see the players and make sure the area operates safely.

The player entrance and car park are busy before and after matches, with players, staff and vehicles moving through the area. We therefore ask supporters to follow the guidance of stewards and club staff and to help us make the experience as positive as possible for everyone.

After the final whistle, staff will need a short period to put the player exit arrangements in place before supporters gather behind the designated barriers.

We cannot guarantee that every supporter will get the chance to meet or speak to a player, but we do want to create better and more consistent opportunities for supporters to engage with the team.

Thank you for your patience, co-operation, and continued support.

ACCESSIBILITY FOR DISABLED SUPPORTERS

Supporters with specific access requirements are recommended to contact [email protected] for assistance as soon as possible.

Supporters situated in the Copland Front Wheelchair Platforms should enter through the gate located next to turnstiles 11 and 12.

We would stress the importance of being considerate when parking and remember that each, and every one of us is a club ambassador.

SUPPORTER MESSAGE

Across the continent, the Rangers support are renowned for their incredible backing, both in noise and in colour.

The club calls on all supporters to reject any unacceptable behaviour which brings the good name of Rangers into disrepute. Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to, discriminatory singing, chanting and banners, the throwing of missiles and the use of pyrotechnics.

Such behaviour can carry serious consequences for individuals and for the club. Rangers have faced sanctions from the SPFL in relation to unacceptable conduct, including the use of pyrotechnics, and have also been sanctioned on several occasions in recent seasons in domestic and European competition.

With each repeat offence, the consequences can become more severe and may ultimately impact upon innocent supporters’ ability to attend key matches in the future.

Supporters are also reminded that smoking, including the use of pipes, e-cigarettes and vapes, is strictly forbidden inside the ground.

Supporters should note, as part of a national rollout across Police Scotland, officers may be wearing body worn video cameras at matches.

The cameras are intended to support policing activity and enhance safety. Further information is available via Police Scotland:

PYROTECHNICS

Supporters are reminded the use of pyrotechnics is illegal within Scottish football stadiums, and any supporter found to be in possession of a pyrotechnic device at any match will be arrested.

The club will be sanctioned for any use of pyrotechnics within a stadium.

Please note that face coverings are also prohibited under ground regulations.
