The Ger emphasised how she feels their pre-season has allowed the squad to develop individually and as a team as competitive football starts again.
The Light Blue sat down exclusively with RangersTV ahead the fixture against the newly promoted Dons at the Rangers Training Centre, which kicks off at 7:30pm.
The defender reflected on the squad’s busy pre-season and how that has benefitted them as they continue their Cup journey.
She said: “Pre-season has definitely done a good job in preparing us for the cup games right before the league starts.
“As a team, we were able to take a lot of learning moments away from pre-season, whether it be defensive principles or better communication.
“It was definitely a great learning experience all round - we can take so many positives from those games – it was such a great opportunity for us to have that.
“We’ve had friendlies that have tested us, so if we keep that preparation in mind with everything else that we have done, it has set us up really well for the game on Wednesday night.”
The Ger underlined the team's game plan going into matches with the opportunity to advance into the next round of the competition. She added: “We must continue to play our game.
“It’s a new formation that we are trying to master so we need to have everyone understanding their roles. We need to make sure we stick to our game plan to get the result.
“Aberdeen got a good result against Motherwell so we just need to go into it as though it is any other game.”
