RANGERS’ Rachel McLauchlan has been shortlisted for the Scottish Women’s Premier League’s player of the month award for October.
The right-back has been influential in both the defensive and attacking displays across the month as Malky Thomson’s side picked up three wins and a draw in the league. With 17 goals scored this month and just two conceded it has been a strong month for the Light Blues in the SWPL.
Head coach Malky Thomson said: “Rachel has a fantastic professional attitude and I am not surprised that she has been nominated this month given her contribution to the squad - she is a top professional who prepares for games in the best manner.”
