It’s a massive occasion for the Gers as they host the Spanish side in Glasgow, as they look to take a positive result across to the San Mames and keep their European dream alive this season.
From the last outing at the weekend, there are six changes with Liam Kelly making his European debut for the club as well as Bailey Rice getting his first start on this stage for the Gers. Robin Propper, Leon Balogun, Ridvan and Ianis Hagi also come in for this one with pairing John Souttar and Mohamed Diomande suspended for tonight’s first leg.
That means Kelly starts between the posts for the Light Blues, behind a back five in defence of captain James Tavernier, Dujon Sterling, Propper, Balogun and Ridvan.
Nico Raskin retains his place in midfield and is joined alongside Rice. Vaclav Cerny and Hagi will provide support from deeper roles to forward Cyriel Dessers.
Among the substitutes for Rangers this evening is Jack Butland, young goalkeeper Rydnn McGuire, Connor Barron, Nedim Bajrami, Clinton Nsiala, Jefte, Hamza Igamane, Ross McCausland, Findlay Curtis, Aiden McCallion and Danilo
Kick-off in Glasgow is at 8:00pm and supporters can follow all the action across our channels, with audio commentary available on RangersTV for subscribers outside of the UK.
