PHILIPPE CLEMENT has named four changes to his Rangers team for this evening’s Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen.
From Saturday’s victory over Livingston, John Souttar, Ridvan, Tom Lawrence and Cyriel Dessers come into the starting XI in place of Leon Balogun, Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack and Fabio Silva.
Leon Balogun is out of the matchday squad after a head knock at the weekend, while the manager confirmed Ryan Jack would be left out as they continue to manage his return from injury.
That means Rangers start at Ibrox with Jack Butland in goal and a back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, John Souttar and Ridvan.
Tom Lawrence comes into midfield for his first start since December 6, alongside John Lundstram and Todd Cantwell.
There’s a change up front for this one, as Clement opts for striker Cyriel Dessers and he will be supported by Rabbi Matondo and Ross McCausland.
On the bench this evening are Robby McCrorie, Fabio Silva, Oscar Cortes, Dujon Sterling, Scott Wright, Borna Barisic, Leon King, Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande, who appears in a matchday squad for the first time since joining the club in the January transfer window.
RANGERS: Butland, Tavernier, Goldson, Souttar, Ridvan, Lundstram, Lawrence, Cantwell, Matondo, McCausland, Dessers.
SUBS: McCrorie, Silva, Cortes, Sterling, Wright, Barisic, King, Raskin, Diomande.
