It’s the first outing of the pre-season programme for the Gers, as they step up preparations for the competitive season starting on August 17 with the visit of the English side to Cumbernauld.
There’s a mixture of experience and youth in the Light Blues’ ranks for the first outing of the 2025-26 season, as the assistant takes charge of the side in the midst of the ongoing recruitment process for a new head coach at the club.
Jenna Fife starts in goal for this one, behind a back line of youngster Lily Boyce, who spent time on loan at Queen’s Park in the second half of last season, Leah Eddie and captain Nicola Docherty.
Jodi McLeary and May Cruft start in midfield, with Mia McAulay and Lizzie Arnot beginning on the flanks.
Kirsty Howat will provide support from the number 10 role to a front pairing of Laura Berry and Katie Wilkinson.
