Team News: Gerrard Names His Side To Face Hibernian

STEVEN GERRARD has named six changes to his XI for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash with Hibernian here at Ibrox.

From the team which faced Sparta Prague on Thursday night, in come Nathan Patterson, Connor Goldson, John Lundstram, Ianis Hagi, Scott Wright and Alfredo Morelos.

They take the places of James Tavernier, Calvin Bassey, Juninho Bacuna, Steven Davis, Kemar Roofe and Fashion Jr.

That means it’s a back five of Allan McGregor in goal with Patterson, Goldson, Leon Balogun and Borna Barisic in front of him.

Lundstram joins Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo in the middle of the park, while Ianis Hagi and Scott Wright will provide support to Alfredo Morelos.

Tavernier, Bassey, Davis, Bacuna, Roofe and Fashion Jr all make the bench next to Jon McLaughin.
