JO POTTER has named her Rangers team for tonight’s Champions League Round One qualifying match against Arsenal at Meadow Park.
The fixture will be a huge test for the Light Blues, who take on the 2007 winners of the competition as the head coach gets her first taste of European football in charge.
It’s a quick turnaround from Sunday’sconvincing league win over Dundee United, and the former Lioness makes five changes from that team, with Victoria Esson, Kathy Hill, Leah Eddie, Brogan Hay and Rio Hardy all in from the start.
That means that the New Zealand international starts in goal for the Gers, with Hill and Eddie coming into the side with Laura Rafferty and captain Nicola Docherty retaining their places from the weekend.
Hay is named in the XI and is joined alongside Liv McLoughlin and Lizzie Arnot with Kirsty Howat, Rio Hardy and top goalscorer Katie Wilkinson completing the lineup with the forward scoring four hat-tricks in her last four starts for the club.
On the substitutes bench for Rangers this evening is Jenna Fife, Tessel Middag, Mia McAulay, Eilidh Austin, Laura Berry, Camille Lafaix, Jodi McLeary and Sophie Black.
Kick off at the home of Boreham Wood FC is at 7:30pm and you can watch the match live on Arsenal.com.
