After Tuesday night’s 3-1 home victory over Queen of the South in the second round of the Premier Sports Cup - which saw the manager name an entirely different team from the one which beat Ross County 4-0 in the league at Ibrox seven days ago - only Steven Davis and Glen Kamara stay in the starting line-up for today’s derby following the midweek match with the Doonhamers.
Between the posts this afternoon is Jon McLaughlin and in front of the Scotland international goalkeeper is a back four consisting of captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, James Sands and Borna Barisic.
Davis, Kamara and John Lundstram make up the Gers midfield with Ryan Kent and Malik Tillman providing creativity and support to the club’s top scorer with seven goals in all competitions so far this season, Antonio Colak.
