PHILIPPE Clement has named his Rangers team for this evening’s UEFA Europa League match against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.
A win, coupled with results elsewhere, could see Rangers progress straight to the round of 16, as Clement’s men look to end the league phase on a high at Ibrox.
From Sunday’s victory over Dundee United, there are two changes to the starting XI with Leon King coming in for his first start of the season while Vaclav Cerny also returns to the line-up.
That means Rangers start at Ibrox with Jack Butland in goal behind a back four of Leon King, James Tavernier, Robin Propper and Jefte.
Nico Raskin, Mohamed Diomande and Nedim Bajrami are in midfield, while Cerny returns from an injury which kept him out of the game at Tannadice to join the front three alongside on-form strikers Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers.
There’s a welcome return to the bench for John Souttar who is in the matchday squad for the first time since the Tottenham Hotspur game in December and he is joined there by Liam Kelly, Mason Munn, Tom Lawrence, Ross McCausland, Bailey Rice, Zak Lovelace, Findlay Curtis, Paul Nsio and Zander Hutton.
Kick-off at Ibrox is 8pm.
RANGERS: Butland, King, Tavernier, Propper, Jefte, Raskin, Diomande, Bajrami, Cerny, Igamane, Dessers.
Subs: Kelly, Munn, Souttar, Lawrence, McCausland, Rice, Lovelace, Curtis, Nsio, Hutton.
