Team News: Philippe Clement Names Side For Scottish Cup Final

PHILIPPE Clement has named his Rangers side for this afternoon’s Old Firm Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park.

Today marks the first meeting between the sides in the final of the competition since 2002, won memorably by a stoppage time header from Peter Lovenkrands, and the Light Blues will be keen to get their hands on a second piece of silverware this campaign.

There are no surprises between the posts as Jack Butland retains his place, behind a backline of captain James Tavernier, Leon Balogun, Ben Davies and Ridvan Yilmaz.

In midfield, Mohamed Diomande is joined by Nicolas Raskin, with Todd Cantwell operating in a more advanced role.

Cyriel Dessers leads the line in attack, where he is flanked by Dujon Sterling and Fabio Silva.

Among the substitutes for the Gers this afternoon is Robby McCrorie, John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Rabbi Matondo, Abdallah Sima, Kieran Dowell, Scott Wright, Ross McCausland and Cole McKinnon.

Kick-off in Mount Florida is 3pm and supporters outside of the UK can watch the match live on RangersTV.
