Team News: Philippe Clement Names Team For Real Betis

PHILIPPE Clement has named his Rangers side for the UEFA Europa League, matchday six tie with Real Betis here in Sevilla tonight.

From the team which defeated Dundee 3-1 at Ibrox last Saturday, the manager has named four changes, with Connor Goldson, Ben Davies, Sam Lammers and Ross McCausland coming in for John Souttar, Leon Balogun, Todd Cantwell and Rabbi Matondo.

That means it’s Jack Butland in goal with captain James Tavernier, Goldson, Davies and Borna Barisic in front of him.

John Lundstram and Jose Cifuentes retain their places in the XI, with McCausland, Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers completing the line-up.

Souttar and Matondo both make the bench this evening, next to goalkeepers Robby McCrorie and Kieran Wright; Dujon Sterling, Kemar Roofe, Adam Devine, Arron Lyall and Cole McKinnon.

It’s an 8pm(UK) kick-off tonight in this final group match, with third place and progression to the UEFA Europa Conference League guaranteed as a minimum, and second place and the round of 16 play-off, and first place and direct progression to the round of 16, both also possibilities for the Light Blues this evening depending on the result here, and Sparta Prague’s scoreline away to Aris Limassol.
