Team News: Potter Names Team For Hearts

JO POTTER has named her Rangers side for this afternoon’s Sky Sports Cup match against Hearts at the Oriam.

The Light Blues are the current holders of the competition as they take on the Edinburgh side in the second round.

The head coach makes two changes to the team that were convincing winners over Montrose in their last outing before the international break.

Jodi McLeary returns to the starting side in place of Kayla Jardine and Libby Bance makes her full debut in place Megan Bell.

The line-up in full sees Jenna Fife start in goal, behind a back three of Rachel McLauchlan, Kathryn Hill and captain Nicola Docherty.

Jodi McLeary and Mia McAulay will start on the channels for the Light Blues, with Kirsty Maclean and Tessel Middag in central midfield.

Libby Bance makes her first start for the Gers and she will begin in an advanced midfield role where she will provide support to a front pairing of Rio Hardy and Kirsty Howat.

On the substitutes bench for Rangers this afternoon are Victoria Esson, Brogan Hay, Rachel Rowe, Megan Bell, Eilidh Austin, Sarah Ewens, Laura Berry, Chelsea Cornet and Michelle Colson.
