GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has made two changes to his team for tonight’s UEFA Europa League Round of 16, first leg against Red Star Belgrade at Ibrox Stadium.
After Saturday’s 1-0 home win against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, Leon Balogun and John Lundstram return to the Light Blues’ starting eleven to face Dejan Stankovic’s side, replacing Borna Barisic and Fashion Sakala who have been named on the bench.
Allan McGregor makes his 70th appearance in the UEFA Cup/Europa League this evening and in front of the Gers goalkeeper is a back four consisting of captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Balogun and Calvin Bassey.
Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara and Lundstram will feature in the middle of the park with Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent playing up alongside the club’s top European scorer, Colombian star Alfredo Morelos, in attack.
Joining Barisic and Sakala on the bench tonight are Jon McLaughlin, Robby McCrorie, Leon King, Aaron Ramsey, James Sands, Alex Lowry, Amad Diallo, Scott Wright and Kemar Roofe.
