Steven Davis, Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo are in midfield, while up front, Hagi and Ryan Kent will support striker Alfredo Morelos.
Despite the injury to Roofe and the likes of Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack missing out today, Gerrard still has a strong bench available to him.
