The shot stopper, who made the switch to the Gers during the January transfer window, will link back up with the Icelandic side as she looks to gain further regular game time to be part of her national team squad ahead of this summer’s European Championships taking place in Switzerland.
Ivarsdottir had made one appearance for the Light Blues so far, keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Spartans but very much remains part of the future at the club moving forward and we hope she will benefit from getting matches under her belt in the coming weeks.
Women’s MD, Donald Gillies said: “We had a request from Breidablik for support due to a few injuries they had sustained in the position.
"As Telma continued to adjust to Scotland and challenge for playing time we had to be mindful that she is a key part of Icelands National Team, and ultimately we believe it will continue her development in a positive way over the next 6 weeks prior to the Euro. We are looking forward to welcoming her back next season”.
