The goalkeeper made the switch from Icelandic club Breidablik earlier this year as Jo Potter strengthened her shot stopping department for the second half of the season.
Speaking to the official Rangers website as the Light Blues get set to step out at Ibrox for their next SWPL fixture this weekend, she commented: “I have settled in very nicely, everything is coming together and I feel like I have been here for a year now.
“It has just been two months but I feel great and everybody is so nice and welcoming.
“It is has been so easy for me to get into the club so I am very happy about that.
“Adapting to new surroundings? It is not as hard as I thought, but of course, it is hard to be like the new person and move to a new country and everything.
“Everybody has been so helpful and welcoming and that has made it so easy for me to come to training every day and go to the games, meeting all the staff, it has been very nice and very easy to adapt to.”
“Ibrox? I went to the stadium in December and took a look at the training centre.
“I did go to a men's game and saw the stadium so that was quite nice.
“It would just be an absolute dream to play at Ibrox, it is a great stadium and it's very nice.
“Every game now is a big game and it would be my dream if I could play at Ibrox but we just have to wait and see what happens.”
The 25-year-old has one Rangers appearance to her name so far, keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 Scottish Cup win over Spartans last month, as she spoke of the moment of pulling on the jersey for the first time as well as competing against the likes of Jenna Fife and Victoria Esson for the number one jersey.
She continued: “My debut? That was such a nice feeling, I felt great.
“I just knew that I had their backs no matter what and playing that game was so nice.
“For the competition in the squad with us three you always want to be the best version of yourself.
“You always want to be better and you are ready to put in the effort in every practice.
“That is what makes you better in every way and I just think I wouldn't have come this far in football if I wasn't going to have some competition.
“There is always going to be competition and that is what you want if you are going to be a better player.”
Having been through the door and now fully aware of her new working environment, the Iceland international gave an insight into what life has been like under the guidance of her boss after making the switch out of her home nation for the first time in her career.
She added: “Working under Jo? It has been so good; Jo is an amazing coach.
“She knows what she wants and she goes for it.
“Of course, there is competition everywhere, she is amazing in how she sets things up for us and how we play is just great to see, what I have seen so far has been very nice.”
