This Week's Gers Guide

IN this week’s Gers Guide, the Men resume their UEFA Europa League campaign, the Women’s side pause for the final international hiatus of the calendar year, while the B Team and Under-18s are in action.

MONDAY

TUESDAY

  • Loan Review

Storm Bert may have wreaked havoc on the fixture card in the UK on Saturday, but Rangers still had several loanees feature over the weekend.

  • Rangers B v Clyde – Glasgow Cup – Rangers Training Centre – Kick-off 7:45pm

The young Gers are back in action tomorrow evening as they host Clyde in the Glasgow Cup.

The Light Blues got off to a winning start in their previous outing in the competition this season, running out comprehensive 5-0 winners over Partick Thistle earlier this month.

WEDNESDAY

  • Press Conference – Nice

Philippe Clement and a player will speak to the media on Wednesday ahead of the side’s return to UEFA Europa League action in the south of France.

  • Women’s International Preview

The final international break of the calendar year has rolled around in the SWPL, and Rangers will have several of their players proudly representing their countries over the next ten days.

THURSDAY

  • Opposition Focus – Nice

Rangers will square off against Nice as they continue their UEFA Europa League campaign this week.

Unbeaten in their last five outings in all competitions, the French side will pose a stern test for the Light Blues and you can read all about their history, form and key players in an in-depth opposition focus on our official website.

  • Nice v Rangers – UEFA Europa League League Phase - Allianz Riviera – Kick-off 8pm UK time

The Light Blues return to European action with a trip to the French Riviera on Thursday evening.

Clement’s side currently reside in 10th place in the revamped league phase having earned a creditable point at the home of the reigning UEFA Europa Conference League winners Olympiacos last time out.

FRIDAY

  • Rangers Under-18s v Celtic Under-18s – CAS Elite Under-18 League – Rangers Training Centre – Kick-off 7:45pm

Steven Smith’s Under-18s side are back in league action in an exciting Old Firm clash on Friday evening.

SUNDAY

  • St. Johnstone v Rangers – Scottish Premiership – McDiarmid Park – Kick-off 12 noon

The Gers will resume league action with a trip to Perth to face St. Johnstone at Sunday lunchtime.

The side were victorious over the Saints at Ibrox earlier this campaign as a Vaclav Cerny double delivered all three points.
