The Gers boss was delighted with the performance from the group as they continued their unbeaten run in the league.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “Everyone was a part of it today, even the girls that we never used, everyone had a part in the preparation and making sure that training levels were maintained and high.
“Credit has got to go to the full squad and that is everyone, not just the ones who played in the game. Right from Jenna Fife through the whole squad, the back four was solid today and we were really good in terms of our communication.
“There was a lot of demand put on the girls by the staff and by themselves, we knew that when it comes to the bigger games and the ones that have got pressure we really need to take our chances when we have that much of the ball and we did that today.”
With two goals from Jane Ross and a Brogan Hay strike sealing the victory, Thomson praised the clinical edge shown by his side.
He continued: “When you dictate as much as we do there's another pressure that goes with it.
"When you have got so much possession in the game and you can't have that final action of putting the ball in the net it gives the opposition team a lift that they feel they are doing something really well.
“Today, we took our chances and we were really concrete and sure about ourselves. The mood of the group was great given that 10 of them had been away on international duty and they came back in and really rallied round each other.
“In part of our preparation for the game the girls got together and had a chat with each other as players which for me is really pleasing that they are starting to take ownership and starting to believe in themselves.”
Focus for Rangers now turns to next weekend’s match with Partick Thistle, Thomson continued: “We will come back in tomorrow, we will have a session and then we will look towards Partick Thistle with the sole intention of getting three points again.
“It is important to keep that philosophy where we don't get ahead of ourselves and don't get too carried away because you are only as good as your last game.”
