The Gers boss was delighted with the team’s display and their reaction to losing a goal as they picked up another three points in the SWPL.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “It’s really pleasing, the team spirit really came through after we conceded the goal which was a real shame because we are desperate to try and keep clean sheets.
“We reacted straight after that with Chelsea [Cornet] being really forthright and intent in going forward and it was a great finish so I was really pleased with the whole night.
“I am pleased with the attitude and performance especially from the older players in the group. I think they are really really pulling the thing together.
Brogan Hay completed her hat-trick with two goals in the final six minutes and the Gers boss felt they showed a good level in the final stages of the game.
He continued: “Brogan is one of the experienced ones as well, it was her first hat-trick for Rangers so I am really pleased for her. She works really hard on her game so there's no surprise that she is getting those milestones and rewards.
“We really upped the level in the last 15 minutes, the girls were really going for goal and really trying to score as many goals as they could. The whole night was pleasing so I am really happy.”
