A goal in each half from the 20-year-old was the difference as Michael Beale’s side continued their winning run in the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, Tillman said: “I am always happy if I score and assist goals, it is always nice to help the team and I am pleased with that one.
“It is amazing, I think the team helps me a lot, they create space for me as well, so I am just there and enjoying my football.”
On the performance, Tillman said the squad are happy to pick up another three points but will continue to strive to improve moving forward.
He continued: “Winning is always important, we played a decent game, but we can still improve so we are looking forward to next week and try to win that game as well.
“We always want to go into the next game positive so a win as I said is always important but I think everyone knows that we could have scored more goals and created more chances, so we have to keep on working and do it better next game.”
It was also a special afternoon for goalkeeper Allan McGregor who made his 500th appearance for the club, and Tillman hailed the achievement and was happy the team could keep a clean sheet.
He added: “500 games is an amazing achievement for one club, especially for a club as big as Rangers so I am happy for him and I think everyone else is as well.”
