Tillman Happy With Points But Wanting More

MALIK TILLMAN reflected on a night where Rangers claimed all three points against Motherwell, but left room for improvement in-terms of performance.

Both the midfield man, along with manager Michael Beale, left Ibrox delighted to have made it four wins from four in the league, but knowing there is still more to come from the team.

He told RangersTV: "We won but I think in the first half, we didn't reach our level. In the second half, it was a bit better, but all in all, I think we can still improve a lot and hopefully we are going to give a better game on Monday.

"I am always happy to score or assist and today I got it also in front of my family, so that pleased me a lot.

"The team always comes first, and I try to help them as best as I can.

"We wanted to end the year with a win and we did that. We are going to keep looking forward and try to win the other coming games as well.”

Tillman was delighted to see Connor Goldson net in the win, while he also discussed his growing partnership with Alfredo Morelos.

The American international continued: "He is one of the most experienced guys in our team and also, one of the loudest! He helps us on and off the pitch and I think he does a great job at the back and communicates a lot and helped us a lot today and also in the other games.

"Alfredo is a good guy, a funny guy! He tries to score goals every single game and I try to help him in that case.

"I try to help the team as best as I can and fortunately it happens quite a lot to help him as well."
