MALIK TILLMAN praised the incredible Rangers support tonight as the squad progressed to the play-off round in the Champions League after defeating Union Saint-Gilloise at a sold-out Ibrox.
Rangers overcame a two-goal first-leg deficit to progress in Europe this evening after completing a 3-2 aggregate win against Karel Geraerts’ side.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after their incredible win, he said: “It was an amazing feeling!
"I think after the game last week we needed Ibrox and the fans, I think we did pretty well – thanks to the fans for pushing us every minute, that was for them.
Tillman expressed his delight to net the match-winning goal tonight but emphasised that the squad will remain focussed ahead of the weekend and next week’s play-off round against PSV in the Champions League at Ibrox.
He added: “It’s always nice to help the team, but it was the win of the team that did it for me.
“We try to win every game; we have to focus on every game and try and win every one of them.”
