UEFA Europa League Draw: Everything You Need To Know

RANGERS will learn their Europa League last 16 opponents when the draw is made at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland this morning.

The Gers will contest the knockout phase of the competition for the fourth time in the last five seasons having ended Real Betis’ home record to top Group C in December.

The draw will take place at 11am UK time on the official Europa League website, while you can keep your eye across our social media channels to learn of our opponents.

Philippe Clement’s side are seeded in the draw by virtue of topping their group, which means they can be drawn against a team from the play-off round which was contested between sides who finished runners up in their respective Europa League groups and third-placed sides from the Champions League.

Indeed, Rangers will be keen to draw on their experience from 2022 after navigating the last 16 of the competition for the first time with a 4-2 aggregate victory over Crvena Zvezda.

The first and second leg of the last 16 ties will take place on March 7 and 14 respectively, although please wait for official confirmation from the club.

The winners will advance to the quarter-finals, with the draw for both the last eight and the semi-finals taking place on March 15.

Rangers can be drawn against the following sides:

  • Roma (ITA)

  • AC Milan (ITA)

  • Freiburg (GER)

  • Sporting CP (POR)

  • Benfica (POR)

  • Qarabağ (AZE)

  • Sparta Praha (CZE)

  • Marseille (FRA)

Once the draw has been completed, fans should note that exact dates and kick off times will be confirmed as soon as possible.
