Topping the group would see the Gers advance to the round of 16, with a second-placed finish pitting the side against a third-placed team from the UEFA Champions League group stages in the play-off round.
The third-placed side in each Europa League group will move into the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off round, where they will face the Europa Conference League group runners-up for a place in the round of 16.
The final of the UEFA Europa League will take place at the Dublin Arena on Wednesday May 22 2024.
