The Gers boss expects a difficult test at Ibrox and hopes his squad can keep their standards high throughout the match.
Speaking to the media at a pre-match press conference this afternoon, he said: “We have to make sure we keep our standards and we keep our way of playing and make sure we go for 90 minutes to win the three points.
“The away game we played against Livingston was a tough game and they have shown this season already they can be very hard to beat. They are a good team with a good spirit and they keep it compact. They don't give much space away for opponents so we have to make sure we are on top of our game and do everything to get the points.”
The manager provided an update on his squad as he is set to welcome Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield back into the matchday group.
He also revealed midfielder Ianis Hagi will miss the remainder of the season having had an operation after an injury picked up in Friday evening’s Scottish Cup match with Stirling Albion.
He continued: “The good news is we have Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield back in the squad tomorrow.
“We assessed Ianis in the last few days and he was operated on in London yesterday. We won't have Ianis for the season so that is a big blow for all of us and of course a huge disappointment for Ianis.
“I spoke to him this morning, he is in a good place. He is obviously not happy that he has the injury but he is focused and positive for his recovery.”
