The 33-year-old signed a new one-year deal with the Light Blues before jetting off to Paris for the prestigious event as the New Zealand national team competed in the competition.
Speaking to RangersTV after linking back up with her Gers teammates recently, the goalkeeper says she has noticed real signs of progress in the ranks having made her return in the league opener.
She commented: “The more you experience different types of football, playing in different countries and in different places, the more you learn.
“Every time I play with a different team in a different place I feel like I pick up some little piece of gold that I can take into the future of my football, whether it's in a game or in training with teammates.
“The girls played a fantastic game [Aberdeen away]; they were ruthless in front of goal I thought.
“I only had a one week build-up with the team but it is great to see the progress that they have made in pre-season and they have obviously been working really hard.
“Working on their combinations and their work in front of goal, that was awesome and long may it last into the season.”
The Gers host Queen’s Park tomorrow evening at Broadwood Stadium off the back of a fantastic start to the campaign, with the shot stopper keeping clean sheets in both wins so far and she wants the team to continue that ruthless approach in front of goal.
She continued: “It is great for Queen's Park that they are able to come up into our league this year and I am sure they are looking forward to being part of the top tier in Scotland.
“I think anything can happen with games and it is important for us to make that we keep clean sheets down my end and we are scoring goals at the top end.
“No matter what Queen's Park throw at us we need to be ready for it.
“The way we lost the league last year or came second was pretty brutal.
“I think after that many games and that many points you would hope it wouldn't come down to such fine margins but it did and at the end of the day we need to make sure that we are scoring as many goals as possible and conceding as little as we can.
“There is an expectation at Rangers to keep clean sheets and as a goalkeeper that is almost what you measure yourself off to an extent.
“But when there is a game like that where I am not so busy, it is definitely important to get a clean sheet and to make sure that we do everything we can at the back to keep things tidy.”
