It was a busy month for the Gers, with Scottish Premiership, Europa League and Scottish Cup competition and the following players have been nominated for the award:
James Tavernier
The captain was again a crucial figure in Philippe Clement’s side this month both defensively and in attack, with the right-back playing every minute for the Gers.
He also continued to reach more personal milestones with his goal against Hibernian taking him to 131 career goals as he became the highest scoring British defender in history.
Fabio Silva
The on-loan Wolves forward continued his impressive form in Light Blue since joining the club in January.
Featuring more regularly on the left in March, Silva continued to show his quality in attack for Rangers, netting in the Scottish Cup victory over Hibernian.
John Lundstram
John Lundstram was influential in the Rangers midfield in March, playing every minute for Philippe Clement’s side.
A goal and an assist from the 30-year-old at Easter Road saw the Light Blues through to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 victory over Hibernian.
Mohamed Diomande
Since joining Rangers in January, Diomande has quickly become a fans’ favourite with his displays in midfield.
March continued to see the Ivory Coast-born midfielder go from strength to strength in Light Blue.
Ridvan Yilmaz
The left-back has had a strong month in March as he featured regularly for Philippe Clement’s side.
The 22-year-old put in some top performances at the back, earning himself a recall to the national team for the recent international break.
