The candidates for the voting for this month’s winner are as follows:
Chelsea Cornet – Chelsea enjoyed a vastly impressive month in the Rangers midfield featuring in all four matches throughout. The 25-year-old came up with some crucial goals for the club including the vital opener in the 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final Old Firm win as well as getting herself on the scoresheet in the triumph over Glasgow City.
Olivia McLoughlin – Another mainstay throughout the month, Liv continues to impress in the Rangers midfield with her consistent showings. The youngster started all four matches and helped contribute to three wins including a standout individual display in the Scottish Cup semi-final as the Gers put themselves in a fantastic position to lift further trophies this campaign.
Kathryn Hill – Kathy continued her fine season form in April and was another player who started all four outings as the Gers marched on in their pursuit for further silverware this season. Filling in at different roles in the backline the defender featured for the entirety of the 90 minutes and helped the Light Blues to a clean sheet in their last four cup win.
Rio Hardy – Rio was again on hand to continue her fantastic first season in Scottish football by adding another goal as well as two assists throughout April. The striker cooly dispatched her spot kick from 12 yards to open the scoring in the win over Glasgow City before setting up her teammate before she helped the side to overcome Thistle in the last league fixture of the month.
Kirsty Howat – Kirsty made her return to her early season form after making a full return from injury and building up her minutes in April. After appearing off the bench to provide an assist in the month’s opener a first start was to follow before scoring the opening goal at Petershill and confirming Rangers’ place in the Scottish Cup final with the second goal at Hampden in the derby win.
