The candidates for the voting for this month’s winner are as follows:
Jenna Fife – Jenna enjoyed an impressive month between the posts for the Light Blues as she started the three league clashes throughout February. The shot stopper helped herself to back to back clean sheets in the matches against Hearts and Partick Thistle as well as producing some crucial saves in the Old Firm in the last fixture of the month as the Gers’ unbeaten run remained intact.
Olivia McLoughlin – The midfielder netted her first Rangers goal in February in the first match of the month in a resounding Scottish Cup win over Dundee United as the Gers booked their place in the quarter-finals. Liv remained a mainstay in the side throughout starting all the fixtures in the month as well as being named player of the match in the Old Firm draw at Ibrox.
Chelsea Cornet – Chelsea was ever present in the Rangers midfield in February starting all four of the clashes as they Gers continued their unbeaten run heading into the crucial months of the campaign. The midfielder’s form saw her called up to the Scotland squad for the Pinatar Cup and in doing so earned her first start for her country in the final during the most recent international break.
Brogan Hay – Brogan started the month in impressive fashion providing a goal and an assist in the 9-0 win over Dundee United in Scottish Cup action. The winger went on to feature in all the matches within the month including the first ever Old Firm at Ibrox and in doing so earned a place in Pedro Martinez Losa’s Scotland setup for the recent games in Spain.
Lizzie Arnot – The winger also assisted in the emphatic Scottish Cup win as Jo Potter’s side booked their place in the last eight of the competition. She remained a mainstay in the matches that were to follow as Rangers kept their position at the top of the SWPL standings heading into March as they target another positive month on three fronts.
