RANGERS player of the month nominees for November have been announced and you can vote for your winner now!
The Gers enjoyed another fantastic month with three league victories including a crucial win over last season’s champions Glasgow City, as well as booking their place in the Sky Sports Cup semi-finals.
The candidates for the voting for this month’s winner are as follows:
Chelsea Cornet – The midfielder has another month of consistent showings for the Light Blues, starting two of the three league outings with steady performances throughout, her form saw her be part of the Scotland Under-23 setup for their friendly match against the Netherlands.
Tessel Middag – Tessel was reinstated into the starting side throughout November starting all four of the Gers’ outings. Operating at the heart of the defence the 30-year-old was part of the backline that kept two clean sheets as well as helping herself to her first two goals of the season, finding the target against both Boroughmuir Thistle and Montrose.
Rio Hardy – The striker continued to impress in front of goal as she enjoyed another fantastic month for the Light Blues, scoring five goals including two in the victory over Glasgow City as well as providing three assists for her teammates, with her form seeing her fly to the top of the SWPL goalscoring charts.
Rachel Rowe – The attacking midfielder enjoyed a month which saw her net her first Rangers goal in the final outing and her form seeing her recalled into the Wales national team setup. The 31-year-old starting three of the four outings last month providing four assists overall including the vital second in the 2-0 win over Glasgow City.
Lizzie Arnot – The winger made her full return from injury in November as she made her first start of the season as well as finding the target for the first time in 2023/24 against Montrose. Making an appearance from the substitutes bench against Spartans three starts and two assists were to follow as Jo Potter’s side headed into the international break on a high still at the top of the table.
