The call-offs mean the Gers have now had a seven-week long pre-season, and the joint head coach feels the squad are ready for their first competitive game.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of Sunday’s match against Hearts, he said: “We are hoping to get the first official game so it will be nice to play on Sunday.
“It will be a tough game because they have signed a few good players so it will be an interesting game I think they work hard.
“We always have to start with a win that is so important, now the girls are hoping to play a game because we came back seven weeks ago.
As well as a number of new signings over the summer break, Vignal has also been joined on the touchline by joint head coach Malky Thomson.
He continued: “I have known Malky for more than 15 years, he used to be my coach so he needs to push me out of my comfort zone I will learn a lot from him.
“I am learning the job I am a brand new manager, and I think Malky will bring me a lot of things really pleased to work with him.
“The new signings have settled in really well. I think we have signed some really good players with the right mentality, now they have to learn what it is like to be a Rangers player in terms of DNA and culture but since the first day everything has been spot on.
“I think it will make the league more competitive and I am happy for the academy as well because there is now a pathway for the young girls.”
