He told RangersTV: “There’s a lot of frustration in the dressing room and we are hugely disappointed. The most disappointing thing is we didn’t reach the level which we have been setting recently.
“The goals we gave away – we’re disappointed with that. We were chasing the game at the end so we gave away the second one trying to get back into the game but we just didn’t get to the levels which we have been hitting.
“We didn’t create as many chances or do enough in the game really. It’s a setback, but we’ve got to pick ourselves up and go away for a week – there are boys who’ll go away on internationals and there will be other boys who will be here and have to pick ourselves up and go again.
“Straight after the game, it’s going to be very raw and be difficult to speak about and analyse. I’m sure whenever we all come back in, we’ll look at the footage and see where we can improve.
“But we can’t have as many players off their usual standard as what we had today, especially in an Old Firm game.
“Listen, you’d rather go into the international break on a high. It was a good opportunity for us being at home today, but at the end of the game we haven’t got anything from it.
“We’ve got to be big enough to take that and look to improve going forward.”
