Facing off against top opposition in last season’s Serie A runners-up, the Gers competed well in spells in the game and got on the scoresheet twice but fell to defeat with a 5-2 deficit.
Speaking to RangersTV to look back on the 90 minutes in Northern Italy, she commented: “I think we started off really well. We moved the ball well, some good movements and had some good control of the game.
“I think obviously it is tough conditions, really tough opposition so we knew it was going to be hard, but I think we have a really good account of ourselves and most importantly got minutes in the legs.
“Every game we are going to learn something. You play a team like that of course you are going to have some lessons in the game; we had to change a couple of things in the game.
“We will look back at it and take things going forward. It is a really good experience; we have got another big game on Saturday so quick turnaround but plenty to look back on and try put things right and carry on the things we did well going into Saturday.
The striker did find the back of the net to round of the scoring in the match in what was her second goal in pre-season, as she highlighted the importance of getting back in good habits and now readying themselves for their next outing against AC Milan on Saturday.
She added: “I think that is important, we could have easy got our heads down and let the game get away from us when they are scoring plenty of goals.
“We dug deep until the end, worked hard and got a couple of rewards albeit it didn't mean too much but to us when you are putting in the graft it kind of gives you little spring in your step just to keep pushing until the end of the game.
“We have got to get everybody as many minutes as we possibly can.
“We have got to be up to scratch ready for when the season starts, that is important.
“Recover, eat and drink plenty and just get ready for Saturday.”
