Five Gers will be part of the Scotland squad that will take part in the Pinatar Cup during the break, which will see Pedro Martinez Losa’s side take on the Philippines in the semi-final this weekend before a second match and potential final to come on Tuesday afternoon.
There are call-ups once again for goalkeeper Jenna Fife, captain Nicola Docherty, Chelsea Cornet and Brogan Hay, whilst there is a special personal moment for Jane Ross, who marks her return to the national setup for the first time since April 2022 having made a full recovery from a long term injury in recent months.
It’s the fourth time that the Scots will take part in the competition, after winning the inaugural tournament in 2020, with a slightly altered two-match format this time around in Spain.
Megan Bell – Northern Ireland
Montenegro v Northern Ireland – Friday, 23 February - UEFA Nations League Play-Off – 1.00pm
Northern Ireland v Montenegro – Tuesday, 27 February – UEFA Nations League Play-Off – 7.00pm
Megan will be part of the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming Nations League play-off double header against Montenegro.
The matches will determine promotion and relegation in the competition with the midfielder hopeful of involvement in the two outings.
The 22-year-old is currently enjoying a loan spell at fellow SWPL side Hearts until the end of the season where she scored her first goal for the club at the weekend and she will now join up with her national side for the upcoming break.
Rachel Rowe – Wales
Republic of Ireland v Wales – Tuesday, 27 February – Friendly – 7.30pm
The attacking midfielder will join up with her national team for their upcoming friendly match against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday evening.
Wales will be looking to begin the year in a positive fashion after a disappointing Nations League campaign with the January player of the month looking to continue her recent good from and earn further minutes for her country.

Victoria has already been away representing her country in recent weeks as New Zealand were winners of the OFC Olympic Qualifying Tournament played in Samoa.
As a result of their success, the Football Ferns have now qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics and in doing so will take part in the competition for the fifth time in their history, taking place this summer.
The goalkeeper featured in several of the matches including starting the final as she played her part in securing qualification, as she will now return to her club for potential involvement in the fixtures after the break.

Wales Under-19s v Scotland Under-19s – Wednesday, 21 February – Friendly – 3.00pm
Wales Under-19s v Scotland Under-19s – Saturday, 24 February – Friendly – 12.00pm
Several Rangers youngsters will travel south to take on Wales in two friendlies in Wrexham over the break.
The first meeting between the sides will come later this afternoon before they face off again at the weekend.
The fixtures will come as ideal preparation for the Under-19s squad ahead of round two European qualifiers which begin in April. Where they will take on Albania, Cyprus and Lichtenstein in Group B.
