Eight Gers stars will be involved in the Scotland squad over the upcoming break as the club is well represented in the Scots camp once again as they take on Israel in a pair of European Championship qualifiers.
Jenna Fife, captain Nicola Docherty, Chelsea Cornet, Brogan Hay, Jane Ross and Sarah Ewens all keep their place from the last break. Whilst there is another call-up for Kirsty Howat after her fantastic end of season form as well as Kirsty Maclean, who returns to the setup for the first time in 2024 as she was at late inclusion in place for her originally named club teammate Rachel McLauchlan.
Pedro Martinez Losa’s side began the most recent qualifying campaign with four points from their first two matches, having drew with Serbia before beating Slovakia at Hampden.
They will host Israel at the National Stadium tomorrow evening behind closed doors before facing their opponents again in Hungary on Tuesday afternoon as they look to build on a positive start to their group.
Jodi McLeary and Mia McAulay – Scotland Under-23s
• Denmark Under-23s v Scotland Under-23s – Thursday, May 30 - International Friendly – 11:00am
• Denmark Under-23s v Scotland Under-23s – Sunday, June 2 – International Friendly – 10:00am
The two Rangers youngsters will join up with the Scotland Under-23s squad as they take on Denmark over the upcoming break.
McLeary was involved in a camp at the same age group earlier in the season, whilst PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year winner McAulay is rewarded with a call-up for her fine first season in professional football, having represented her country at Under-19s level previously.
Both fixtures will be away to the Danes, as they matchup for the first time today before a second game to come this Sunday with the two wingers hopeful of involvement with their nation.
Rachel Rowe – Wales

• Ukraine v Wales – Tuesday, June 4 – UEFA European Championship Qualifier – 7:00pm
Rachel will once again be involved in the Wales camp after a fantastic most recent break and overall season in Scottish Football.
The attacking midfielder was named PFA Women’s Player of the Year for her showings as she looks to take her club form to her country once again having scored three goals in the opening two group games in the last camp back in April.
Rhian Wilkinson’s side got off to the perfect start in qualifying with two wins from two as they prepare to take on Ukraine firstly tomorrow evening before the teams face-off again on Tuesday night.
Victoria Esson – New Zealand
• Japan v New Zealand – Friday, May 31 – International Friendly – 3:00pm
• Japan v New Zealand – Monday, June 3 – International Friendly – 3:00pm
Fresh off her Scottish Cup final clean sheet Victoria will join up with the New Zealand squad for a pair of friendlies against Japan being played in Murcia, Spain.
The Football Ferns will be competing in this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris as they prepare with matches in the lead up to the tournament starting at the end of July.
They will firstly take on the Asian nation on Friday afternoon, before the teams face off again on Monday at the same time.
