The Scots will take on Ukraine this Friday morning, before coming up against club teammate Li Mengwen’s China as they step up preparations for the World Cup qualifiers starting in March, where they were drawn in Group B4 recently alongside Luxembourg, Belgium and Israel.

Mia McAulay and Light Blues captain Nicola Docherty retain their place from last month’s matches, whilst defender Leah Eddie has been called up to rejoin the squad for the first time since the appointment of Head Coach Melissa Andreatta.

Quinty Sabajo – Suriname

  • Anguilla v Suriname – CONCACAF Championship Qualifier – Friday, 28 November – Kick-off 19:30

  • Dominican Republic v Suriname – CONCACAF Championship Qualifier – Tuesday, 2 December – Kick-off 23:00

Quinty will once again be part of the Suriname national team’s setup as they participate in the preliminary CONCACAF qualifiers where they go in search of World Cup qualification, working towards reaching November 2026’s next qualifying stage in the CONCACAF Championships to take a step closer to reaching the major tournament.

They will firstly face off against Anguilla this Friday evening UK time, before taking on the Dominican Republic on Tuesday as they look to make a positive start to their group, with the 26-year-old hoping to win her first cap.

The midfielder heads into the break in good form, having scored her first away goal for the Gers at the weekend, and is able to represent the nation through the allegiance of her father, having joined up with them last month for the first time for a training camp in the Netherlands.

Li Mengwen – China

  • England v China – International Friendly – Saturday, 29 November – Kick-off 17:30

  • Scotland v China – International Friendly - Tuesday, 2 December – Kick-off 18:00

Li will join up with the China national team for an exciting pair of friendly matches during the final international break of 2025.

The defender, who was recently on international duty back in her homeland, made her Gers return off the bench at the weekend for her second appearance for the club since joining as a free agent in September.

Her nation will get the opportunity to face off against the current European champions at Wembley on Saturday evening, before coming up against three of her Rangers teammates in a match against Scotland out in Spain on Tuesday night.

Kim Shin Ji – South Korea

Shin Ji will join up with South Korea for the first time this season as they round off the year with a pair of friendly matches during the next six days.

The midfielder, who has been a fans’ favourite during her time in Glasgow so far after a string of impressive showings since joining on loan, will hope to take her club form to her country after returning to the Light Blues’ starting lineup on Sunday.

They will also be in Spain as they take on Wales, before jetting over to the Netherlands to face off against the Dutch on Tuesday.

Eilidh Austin, Fallon Connolly-Jackson and Jodi McLeary – Scotland Under-23s

  • Belgium Under-23’s v Scotland Under-23’s – International Friendly – Thursday, 27 November – Kick-off 12 noon

Three Rangers players will be present as Scotland’s Under-23s programme continues with a match against Belgium away tomorrow afternoon.

In a friendly tournament setup, which the Scots are participating in for the first time, began with a defeat to Sweden at Stark’s Park last month before an impressive away win against Italy followed.

Jodi McLeary, who has captained her nation at the age group on occasion, will join up with the squad once again, and she will be joined by club teammates Eilidh Austin and Fallon Connolly-Jackson.

May Cruft and Jess Pegram – England Under-20s

  • China Under-20’s v England Under-20’s – International Friendly – Wednesday, 26 November – Kick-off 16:00

  • England Under-20’s v USA Under-20’s – International Friendly – Saturday, 29 November – Kick-off 12 noon

Light Blues pair of May Cruft and Jess Pegram will join up with the England Under-20s for their matches to be played at the Pinatar Arena out in Spain during the break.

The duo, who were in action for their country at Under-19 level last month, are part of the squad who will meet up for preparations as they build towards the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals taking place in Poland next September, a tournament in which they qualified for back in the summer.

It should be a good experience for the pair playing at yet another higher level when they first take on China this afternoon, before further outings against the USA and Mexico to come to round off their fixtures for the year.

Laura Berry, Lily Boyce, Mia McArthur, Sophie Townsley and Sophie Black – Scotland Under-19s
