Four Rangers players have been named in the Scotland squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against England and Belgium as the Scots begin their League A games.
Pedro Martinez Losa’s side will test themselves against the recent World Cup runners-up and Euro winners in an eagerly anticipated tie against their rivals at the Stadium of Light on Friday evening.
They will then round off the break with a home match as they host Belgium at Hampden Stadium four days later as they look to get off to a positive start in their campaign.
Megan Bell - Northern Ireland
Republic of Ireland v Northern Ireland – Saturday, 23 September – UEFA Nations League - 1.00pm
Northern Ireland v Albania – Tuesday, 26 September – UEFA Nations League - 7.00pm
Megan has again been called into the Northern Ireland setup having recently made her return to the Gers squad in the last week before the break.
The midfielder will be involved in a fixture against their neighbours with her country taking on the Republic of Ireland on Saturday afternoon before hosting Albania three days later.
Rachel Rowe - Wales
Iceland v Wales – Friday, 22 September – UEFA Nations League – 7.00pm
Wales v Denmark – Tuesday 26 September – UEFA Nations League – 7.15pm
Rachel will join up with her international teammates as she looks to add to her 57 caps for her country in their Nations League double header.
The summer signing has appeared for her new club once in the league on the opening day of the season in the win over Spartans and she will now look to gain valuable minutes as she targets a return to full fitness.
Gemma Grainger’s side will travel to Iceland as their campaign also gets underway before they host Denmark next Tuesday evening at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Victoria Esson – New Zealand
Chile v New Zealand - Saturday, 23 September Friendly – 11.00pm
Chile v New Zealand – Tuesday, 26 September – Friendly – 3.00pm
Victoria will link up with the New Zealand squad as they meet up for the first time since competing in this summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The goalkeeper will travel to South America over the break as they take on Chile in a pair of friendlies. The first clash will be this Saturday evening before they face off again on Tuesday afternoon.

Several Rangers youngsters will join up with the Scotland Under-19s side as they meet up for two home friendly matches against Hungry during the break.
The young Scots will welcome their opponents to Ainslie Park in Edinburgh on both Friday and Tuesday afternoon as they step preparations for Scotland's first 2023/24 UEFA Women’s European Championship qualifiers that take place in October.
