Northern Ireland - Demi Vance
Demi and her Northern Ireland teammates were part of history on Saturday evening as they lined-up at Wembley Stadium in front of 23,000 fans for their Group D World Cup qualifier against England.
It was England’s first competitive match at their national stadium and proved to be a difficult evening for Northern Ireland as they were defeated 4-0.
However, they bounced back on Tuesday evening and picked up a hard-fought point against Austria.
Demi was on the scoresheet as she fired home a stunning free-kick from distance to give Northern Ireland a 2-1 lead in the second-half but Stephanie Enzinger’s injury time goal saw the sides share the points.
Northern Ireland currently sit third in Group D behind England and Austria and face a double header against North Macedonia next month.
Scotland - Jenna Fife, Nicola Docherty, Rachel McLauchlan, Jane Ross, Zoe Ness
Scotland continued their strong start to their FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with a 2-1 victory over Hungary on Friday evening.
Nicola Docherty, Rachel McLauchlan and Jane Ross were all involved in the match as Rachel Corsie’s 90th minute goal sealed the victory to make it three wins from three in Group B.
On Tuesday evening, Pedro Martinez Losa’s side faced Olympic silver medallists Sweden in a friendly. It was a tough test for Scotland as they lost out 2-0 at St Mirren Park, with Jenna Fife, Jane Ross and Zoe Ness all involved in the match.
The Scots continue their World Cup qualifying campaign next month with matches against Ukraine and Spain.
Jamaica - Chantelle Swaby and Kayla McCoy
Jamaica continued their preparations for the start of their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a 0-0 draw with Costa Rica on Sunday evening.
Chantelle Swaby started the match, with Kayla McCoy on the bench at the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami.
It was a dominant performance from Jamaica but they couldn’t find the breakthrough as the friendly ended goalless.
