Indeed, the Gers extended their unbeaten run to 15 games under the Belgian with a 2-0 triumph over St. Johnstone in midweek, three days removed from a memorable Viaplay Cup triumph at Hampden Park.
Speaking to the media ahead of the trip to Fir Park to face Motherwell on Sunday, the 26-year-old said: "The atmosphere is great; ever since the manager has come in he's been really important on that.
"You can see individually and collectively that the confidence is starting to build; picking up great results is always going to help with that.
"It wasn't going to change straight away, but you can see now with a few more games that you're starting to see more of the team that he wants to be.
"We got ourselves into this position by just taking it game-by-game and that's what we'll continue to do."
Wright marked his return from injury in the League Cup final last weekend, which was timely considering the volume of games that the Light Blues continue to juggle over the festive period.
And the winger says that he's loving life under Clement and the burgeoning relationship between players and supporters.
He added: "The manager has been great. I probably didn't feature as much as I would have liked under the previous manager.
"He's came in and said the whole squad has been given a fresh slate, and if you impress him then you can stake your claim in the team.
"That's what I've managed to do. It's a case of knuckling down in training and trying to get minutes to help the team.
"He's very straightforward and you know what you're getting from him. He's very clear about what he wants from you individually and as a team. His intensity of what he wants to do and bring as well.
"It feels as if we've turned a corner. The manager has touched on it being about trying to get that relationship back and how it's important.
"You can see how important that they are for us when we're together, so it's important for us as a team and a club moving forward."
