Wright told RangersTV: "I saw it building up on the left-hand side.
"I picked up my position on the edge of the box and Glen [Kamara] has done great to chop back and then done even better to find me and pick me out.
"I took a touch, hit a shot, it took a deflection and went in the back of the net. I am delighted that it went in - I just wish it could have been the winning goal for us.
"It is a tough place to come but we wanted to be brave on the ball and control the game as much as we could and I thought we did that in large spells of the game."
Rangers will now look forward to Monday’s draw for the new Europa League Round of 16 play-off.

He added "It is an exciting draw, but we just have to look forward to the game on Sunday now. The next game is always the biggest game here, but the draw is something that we as a team can look forward to."
